Authorize/Deauthorize Device

In order to watch On Demand content with DISH Anywhere, a device must be authorized. Viewing On Demand content will automatically authorize that device. A limit of five devices may be authorized at once, and each device will remain active for 30 days before re-authorization is required.

A device cannot be authorized or deauthorized from another device using the DISH Anywhere app. Devices can be deauthorized using dishanywhere.com.

Open your DISH Anywhere app and make sure you're logged in before following the steps below.

Visit dishanywhere.com and log in with your mydish.com Online ID and password.

  1. Hover over the current profile
    Hover over profile button on dishanywhere.com
  2. Select Account and Devices
    Account and Devices drop-down menu option
  3. Select Deactivate
    Deactivate button on dishanywhere.com

Amazon Fire TV/Fire Stick

  1. Select the Settings icon
    Settings icon on home page of DISH Anywhere app on Fire TV
  2. Highlight Authorized Devices
    Authorized Devices menu option under Settings in DISH Anywhere app on Fire TV
  3. Select AUTHORIZE DEVICE or DEAUTHORIZE DEVICE as applicable
