Your security code is a 4-digit number that you created when you set up your DISH account. To protect your privacy and security, we ask for it whenever you call us.
I forgot my security code. How do I reset it?
- Log in to the "My Profile" tab of your MyDISH account
- Under "Security Info," enter your new 4-digit security code
- Confirm your new 4-digit security code and set up a reminder that will help you remember it in the future
- Click "Submit" to save
- Log in to your account in the MyDISH App
- Select "Account"
- Select "Profile" under "Preferences"
- Under "Security Info," enter your new 4-digit security code

When updating your security code, avoid using sequential or repeating numbers, or information on public record, like birthdays or your SSN. You can also add a security code reminder as a helpful tip when verification occurs.
