What Is Happening?

The same Audio and Video is displaying on both TVs.
 

Why Is It Happening?

This problem is typically caused by sharing a tuner or a receiver error.
 

How Do I Fix It?

Resolve this issue by completing all the steps below:

  1. Press the SAT button

    Press and release the satellite (SAT) button (don't hold it down).

  2. Check for a shared tuner

    Press Options or the red colored button (depending on your remote type below) to view the TV Activity screen. If only one tuner shows the program that is visible on both TVs, you are sharing a tuner.

    To watch separate programs you will need to select another tuner, possibly stopping a recording to free the tuner for use. Alternatively you may watch previously recorded events or On Demand.

  3. Reset your Hopper

    On the front of your Hopper, hold the Reset button down for about 5 seconds.

    The reset process may take up to 5 minutes to complete.

  4. Reset your Joey

    If you are not troubleshooting a Joey, skip this step.

    On the front of your Joey, hold the Power button down for about 5 seconds.

    The reset process may take up to 5 minutes to complete.
