Restart Your DISH Service

If your DISH service has been turned off, either because you called to cancel or because of a missed payment, we can help get you up and running again.

Restarting after Voluntarily Disconnecting Your Account

We’re glad you changed your mind about cancelling your DISH service! If it’s been less than 60 days and you still have your DISH equipment, restarting is easy.

  1. Log into your MyDISH account at mydish.com/myaccount.
  2. Click “Pay to Restore Services” on the Account Disconnected overlay.

    If you do not see this overlay, you might not meet all criteria to restart your service online. Contact us to have a customer service representative take care of it for you.
  3. Confirm that the services listed in the Details view are correct.

    If no payment is required to restart service (Due Today will show as $0.00), click “Restart” and you’re done!
    If a payment is required to restart service (Due Today will show as greater than $0.00), click “Continue.”
  4. Provide your payment details, then click “Continue” again.
  5. Review your payment and click “Submit”.

Restarting after Service Interruption Due to a Missed Payment

We understand that life happens and sometimes you miss a payment. If your account has been temporarily suspended but not yet fully disconnected (meaning that you haven’t yet been asked to return your DISH equipment or been charged an early termination fee), all you have to do to restart is make a payment of your past due balance.

  1. Log into your MyDISH account at mydish.com/myaccount.
  2. Click “Pay to Restore Services” on the Restore My Service overlay.
  3. Confirm that the services listed in the Details view are correct and click “Continue” to proceed to make a payment (as shown in the Due Today total).
  4. Provide your payment details and then click “Continue” again.
  5. Review your payment and click “Submit”.

If you have missed two payments in a row and your account has been fully disconnected, you can still restart online as long as it has been less than 60 days and you still have your DISH equipment.

  1. Log into your MyDISH account at mydish.com/myaccount.
  2. Click “Pay to Restore Services” on the Account Disconnected overlay.

    If you do not see this overlay, you might not meet all criteria to restart your service online. Contact us to have a customer service representative take care of it for you.
  3. Confirm that the services listed in the Details view are correct and click “Continue” to proceed to make a payment (as shown in the Due Today total).
  4. Provide your payment details and then click “Continue” again.
  5. Review your payment and click “Submit”.

Important Reminders

  • If you just paid off your past due balance to restart your service, don’t forget to check your remaining current balance and pay it as soon as possible to avoid having your service interrupted again.
    You might even want to consider signing up for AutoPay at mydish.com/mypreferences so you never have to worry about forgetting a payment.
  • After you have gone through the steps above to restart your service, it may take up to 15 minutes for your channels to return. It takes us a few minutes to beam your order up to our satellites and back down to your TV!
