If your receiver is not connected to the Internet,
(3474) to activate it with a DISH agent. Note that you will need to provide the receiver and SmartCard numbers onscreen to the agent.
If your receiver is connected to the internet,
you can activate it yourself by entering your previous receiver's ID number (located on a label on the back of your receiver) or your account number (located in My Account Summary
or the upper-right corner of your DISH bill) and your ZIP Code. Once entered, select "Continue."
Your receiver will go through the activation process, which can take up to 15 minutes.
