| 1 | Alternate Language - Each channel can have up to two audio feeds
- Selecting English on the Alternate Audio menu will provide the primary audio feed on all channels
- English on an English channel
- Spanish on a Spanish language channel
- Other languages on International channels
- Selecting Alternate on the Alternate Audio menu will provide the secondary audio feed on channels where it is available
- If no secondary feed is available then the customer will hear the primary feed
- Spanish on English channels

- Descriptive Video (an audio narration service for the visually impaired) will be the secondary audio feed on some channels
- Generally customers only need to use English or Alternate

| 2 | HD/SD Volume Leveling - Customers watching HD content sometimes notice the higher volume level when an SD commercial comes on during an HD program
- By enabling HD/SD Volume Leveling this problem is fixed by lowering the audio level on the SD content to match the audio level of the HD content
- Some customers may prefer the audio to be unaltered
- This feature is disabled by default

| 4 | Max/Min Volume Leveling - Some customers may notice while watching programming that loud sounds (explosions) are too loud while quiet sounds (whispers) are too quiet
- Setting the receiver to RF mode will resolve this issue by making the loud noises quieter and making the quiet noises louder
- Line mode is only available if HD/SD Volume Leveling is disabled
- Some customers will prefer the audio to be unaltered
- Line Mode outputs the audio unaltered
- RF mode is the default setting
