Movies

HD Pay-Per-View movies are located on channels 502 through 522. SD Pay-Per-View movies are located on channels 523 through 558. Movies are available to be rented by remote, online at mydish.com/orderppv, by texting MOVIE to 34741* or by calling 1-877-DISH PPV (1-877-347-4778). Once rented, All Day DISH Tickets for Pay-Per-View movies are available for up to 24 hours.

Adult Pay-Per-View

These events are located on channels 480 through 498. They are available to be rented by remote, online at mydish.com/orderppv or by calling 1-877-DISH PPV (1-877-347-4778).

Sports Pay-Per-View Packages

These packages are available to be rented online at mydish.com/orderppv or by calling 1-877-DISH PPV (1-877-347-4778). Sports Pay-Per-View events are available on the following channels:

  • MLS Direct Kick (455-468)
  • ESPN Gameplan (456-468)
  • NHL Center Ice (885-899)
  • NBA League Pass (560-572)
  • ESPN Full Court (456-468)

Sports Pay-Per-View Events

Pay-Per-View events such as boxing, UFC, MMA and wrestling are available on channels 455-468. Pre-order for featured events is available by remote on channels 471/473 SD and 472/474 HD. Pay-Per-View events are also available to be rented online at mydish.com/orderppv, by texting a unique event keyword to 34741* or by calling 1-877-DISH PPV (1-877-347-4778).

PPV Ordering Methods

By Remote (requires phone line or Internet connection)

  1. Press the GUIDE button on your DISH remote and go to the Pay-Per-View channel range, starting at channel 455 for sports and 502 for movies.
  2. Select the movie you want to rent.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order.

Online

mydish.com

  1. Navigate to mydish.com/orderppv.
  2. Log into your mydish.com account. If you do not already have a mydish.com account, click on the "Create Online ID" link and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Choose the appropriate Pay-Per-View category (Movies, Sports & Events, Nude Events or Midnight Lounge).
  4. Click on the movie or event you want to rent.
  5. Follow the instructions on the next page to complete your order.

dishcinema.com

  1. Navigate to dishcinema.com to browse the movies available on Pay-Per-View and On Demand.
  2. Click on the movie you want to rent.
  3. Select the Pay-Per-View tab under "Ways to Order" and click on the Order Now button. If the Pay-Per-View tab is not present, that particular movie is only available On Demand.
  4. Log into your mydish.com account. If you do not already have a mydish.com account, click on the "Create Online ID" link and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Follow the instructions to complete your order.

By Phone

  1. Press the GUIDE button on your DISH remote and go to the Pay-Per-View channel range, starting at channel 455 for sports and 502 for movies.
  2. Find the channel number of the movie you want to rent.
  3. Call 1-877-DISH PPV (1-877-347-4778).
  4. Follow the voice prompts to complete your order.

By Text

Movies

  1. Press the GUIDE button on your DISH remote and go to the Pay-Per-View channel range, starting at channel 502.
  2. Find the channel number of the movie you want to rent.
  3. Text MOVIE to 34741.*
  4. Follow the text prompts to complete your order.

Events

  1. Text the unique event keyword to 34741.* Text ordering is only available for certain Pay-Per-View events. Promotional emails sent out prior to eligible events will include the unique event keyword.
  2. Follow the text prompts to complete your order.

Limited Recording

Some Pay-Per-View movies will be identified as "Limited Recording" on the rental screen. These movies can still be recorded on your DVR, but you will have a limited time frame to watch the movie.

All Day DISH Ticket

The enhanced All Day DISH Ticket (ADDT) allows you access to Pay-Per-View programs for up to an entire day on every channel that program is playing on. Movies and events on ADDT channels are shown for up to 24 hours beginning anywhere from 5:00 AM EST to 6:30 AM EST (depending on the channel) and ending at the same time the following morning. This means that if you order a film at 1:00 PM on channel 503, you will be able to watch it as many times as it airs through 5:30 AM EST the next morning.

Secondary Audio Programming

Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) means that there is another language track available on the program. Most often this secondary audio is Spanish. This feature can be activated on most TVs or on your DISH receiver in the "Settings" menu. SAP is only available for certain Pay-Per-View titles.
