Finding Events in DISH Remote Access Mobile App

  1. Log in to the DISH Remote Access app using your DISH Network account information.
  2. Select the 'More' option located at the bottom of the screen to display additional features.
  3. Select the 'Search' option to display an on-screen keyboard to type in the keyword(s) to search all available content, including current, future and DVR events.

Remote Viewing with DISH Remote Access Mobile App

  1. Log in to the DISH Remote Access app using your DISH Network account information.
  2. Select the event you wish to view from live programming or DVR content.

  3. Select the 'Watch on iPhone/Blackberry/Device' option to begin remote viewing.

    Note

    • To tune the TV1 of your receiver to this event, select the Watch on TV option

  4. While the video is displayed, touch the screen to display control options:

    • Menu - Grid, live, info, record, zoom, standard / high quality
    • Play - Rewind, skip back, play, pause, skip forward, fast forward
    • Navigation - OK, cancel, right, left, pg up, up, down, pg down
    • Keypad - Numbers, delete, enter

Creating Timers in DISH Remote Access Mobile App

  1. Log in to the DISH Remote Access app using your DISH Network account information.
  2. Select the event you wish to create a timer for. Timers can be created for future events in the grid, events in the "Later" tab or future events displayed in search results.
  3. Select the 'Record' option.
  4. Follow the on-screen options to create a one-time or reoccurring timer for the event. Options will vary based on event.

Managing Your DVR in DISH Remote Access Mobile App

  1. Log in to the DISH Remote Access app using your DISH Network account information.
  2. Select the 'DVR' option located at the bottom of the screen to access your receiver's DVR content.
  3. Select the DVR event or timer you wish to edit and follow the on-screen directions

Using Your DISH Remote Access Mobile App as a Remote Control

  1. Log in to the DISH Remote Access app using your DISH Network account information.
  2. Select the 'More' option located at the bottom of the screen to display additional features.
  3. Select the 'Remote Control' option to display an on-screen remote control.

  4. Use the on-screen remote control to:

    • Navigate with up, down, left and right arrows
    • Perform actions with 'OK', 'Cancel' and 'Info' buttons
    • Use DVR functions with the skip back, rewind, pause, play, fast forward and skip forward buttons
    • Return receiver to programming with the 'Live TV' button
    • Return to the DISH Remote Access menu option with the 'Menu' button
