There are two methods used to unprotect recordings
Method 1: Unprotect an Existing Recording
| 1. | From Live TV, press the DVR button 2 times

| 2. | Highlight the desired protected recording and press the SELECT button
|
|
| 3. | Select "Unprotect." If your system is locked, you will first have to enter your password.

Method 2: Unprotect Multiple Existing Recordings
| 1. | From Live TV, press the DVR button 2 times
|
|
| 2. | Select "Edit"
|
|
| 3. | Highlight the desired recording(s) and press the SELECT button
|
|
| 4. | Select "Unprotect." If your system is locked, you will first have to enter your password.
