The Order PPV Movies program allows DISH customers to order same-day PPV movies by texting MOVIE to DISH1 (34741). You do not need to opt into this program, but you must make sure that the cell phone you will be using to text DISH1 (34741) is listed on your DISH account. This can be verified at mydish.com/myprofile.
Upon texting MOVIE to DISH1 (34741), you will receive a text message asking you to reply with the channel number of the movie you would like to order. DISH will reply with the movie showing on that channel and whether it is in HD or SD. You will be prompted to reply ORDER if that is the correct movie or to enter a different channel number if it is not.
Replying ORDER will return a text message asking you if you would like to bill the cost of the movie to your account or pay for it using your last form of payment on file. You must reply BILL to bill to your account or CARD or BANK (whichever applies) to use your last form of payment. If only one payment method is available to you, only that one will be returned as an option and you will not be prompted to reply with BILL, CARD or BANK.
Once you have selected your preferred payment method, you will be asked to confirm your payment by replying CONFIRM. This will return a successful purchase message.
The Order PPV Movies program is only available to residential DISH customers who are billed directly by DISH for TV services.
