Receiver Energy Efficiency Information

DISH is a signatory of the Industry Agreement for Ongoing Improvement to the Energy Efficiency of Set-Top Boxes (STBs) (the ‘VA”). The goal of the VA is to continually improve the energy efficiency of Set-Top Boxes. As part of our VA commitments DISH is providing the Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) for STB models that have been purchased by DISH since January 1, 2014. This information will be updated as new STB products are made available. The information herein represents DISH STBs as generally configured when deployed in customers' homes. Measurements are made in compliance with the VA testing requirements. Energy provided by an STB for accessories such as an LNBF, optional USB modules, or a Solo/Duo Node are not included in the STB Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) figures shown below.
