Watch your Live TV and DVR recordings on your computer at dishonline.com - wherever you go. Plus, instantly watch thousands of On Demand TV shows and movies.

Log In

  1. Go to dishonline.com
  2. Select Login at the top of the screen
  3. Enter your DISH online ID and password. If you do not have one, click here to register your account.

Watch On Demand Videos

  1. Login at dishonline.com
  2. Browse the available content
    1. Hover over On Demand in the main menu and select "Shows" from the drop down to view the available shows to watch online
    2. Hover over On Demand in the main menu and select "Movies" from the drop down to view the available movies to watch online
    3. Hover over On Demand in the main menu and select "Networks" from the drop down to view the networks that are available to you to watch online. Click on a network logo to view content from that network.
  3. Click on a title to begin watching online.

Note: Some content is based on programming package and will only be available to watch online if your DISH subscription at home includes that programming

Watch Your Live TV

Requires a broadband connected DVR and Sling Adapter

  1. Login at dishonline.com
  2. Ensure your Sling-enabled receiver is selected in the upper right corner
  3. Select Guide from the main menu
  4. Select a live event from the Guide
  5. Select Watch Online to begin viewing on your computer
  6. You may also access your live TV by hovering over Live TV in the main menu, and selecting My Live TV from the drop down menu

Watch Your DVR Recordings

Requires a broadband connected DVR and Sling Adapter

  1. Login at dishonline.com
  2. Ensure your Sling-enabled receiver is selected in the upper right corner
  3. Hover over DVR in the main menu and select My Recordings from the drop down
  4. Select the recording you wish the watch, and click the play button

Schedule DVR Recordings

  1. Login at dishonline.com
  2. Select Guide from the main menu
  3. Select the event you wish to record
  4. Select Record and choose the option to create a one-time or re-occurring timer. Options will vary based on event.

Manage Your DVR

Requires a broadband connected DVR

  1. Login at dishonline.com
  2. To delete DVR recordings:
    1. Hover over DVR in the main menu and select My Recordings from the drop down
    2. Select the DVR recording(s) delete, and click the X button to delete
  3. To edit DVR timers:
    1. Hover over DVR in the main menu and select My Timers from the drop down
    2. Select the timer options for the timer you wish to edit
    3. To cancel a timer, click the X button next to the timer you wish to delete.

Rent Movies to DVR

Requires a broadband connected DVR

  1. Login at dishonline.com
  2. Hover over On Demand in the main menu and select Rent to DVR from the drop down
  3. Select a movie, and click Rent next to the video format you wish to rent. Video format options will vary by title.
  4. The movie will be downloaded and available to watch on your home DVR.

System Requirements

Network and Bandwidth

We recommend a downstream bandwidth of 3Mbp or higher for the smoothest playback experience.

You can test your bandwidth here. To initiate the speed test, select an icon on the map that is closest to your geographic location and click "Begin test". Once complete, your downstream bandwidth is displayed in the Download box.
