There are three methods used to create timers
Method 1: Using a Live Program
| 1. | Press the RECORD button while watching live TV or when you have highlighted a current program in your Program Guide

Method 2: Using a Future Program - Automatic Timers
| 1. | Highlight a future program from the Program Guide, Browse, Themes, or Search screen
|

| 2. | Press the SELECT or RECORD button
|

| 3. | Highlight and select the "Record Series" option |  |
| 4. | Make necessary adjustments to the timer, then highlight and select "Create" to save the timer | |
| 5. | If a timer conflict occurs, see Resolve Scheduled Event Conflicts

Method 3: Using a Future Program - Manual Timers
| 1. | Highlight a future program from the Program Guide, Browse, Themes, or Search screen |
|
| 2. | Press the SELECT or RECORD button |

| 3. | Highlight and select the "Record Series" option |  |
| 4. | Highlight and select "Manual Timer" |  |
| 5. | Complete applicable fields: Date, Start, and End time in which manual timer should take place. Highlight and select "Create" when finished. |  |
| 6. | If a timer conflict occurs, see Resolve Scheduled Event Conflicts |

Method 4: Using DISH Pass (seldom used)
A DISH Pass timer is useful if you want to record across multiple channels
| 1. | From Live TV, press the SEARCH button

| 2. | Enter the program you wish to search for
|

| 3. | Select the Green Hot Key |  |
