Problems with Caller ID, Caller ID is not displaying.
Caller ID problems can be caused by outdated software, no subscription to the Caller ID service, using a receiver that does not have the Caller ID feature, an incorrect receiver setting, a nonfunctioning phone jack or cord, missing DSL filters, or the system is not properly grounded
- Check Caller ID
Check that you subscribe to Caller ID from your phone service provider and that your other Caller ID devices are functioning properly.
- Check Phone Line Configuration
Check that the wiring between your DISH receiver and your phone source is configured properly using MY Dish/Setup Phone Line.
- Check that Caller ID is Enabled
Access 'Caller ID' - 'Enable Caller ID' should be selected.
- Contact Phone Service Provider
Have your phone service provider verify that there are no issues with the phone system such as poorly grounded phone lines or excess noise on the phone lines.
